Author Alarm's modular design is extremely well designed, allowing you to add further devices at anytime without fuss. This allows you to build on your vehicles security over time without having to spend all at once. It also gives you the ability to create the best and most secure vehicle protection ever.
Each device can be installed in completely different locations of the vehicle. Anywhere from the front bumper, to the rear bumper and anywhere in between. And each device completely hidden within factory wiring looms and/or in the smallest or hardest to access areas by our experienced installers, and all communicating with each other to protect your investment. If and when one device stops communicating (attempted theft), the other devices work together to continue protecting the car.

IGLA 231 - Next Level Vehicle Security
The most popular in the range. With this amazing immobilising device, you'll rest easy knowing your car is safe!
Features PIN-code authorisation, meaning your vehicle can't be driven away, even if your keys are lost or stolen, without entering your password.
IGLA is a simple, yet extremely effective vehicle security device which includes built-in Comfort functions to close windows, lock doors and fold mirrors along with anti hi-jacking modes. (Comfort not available on all vehicles).
IGLA 200
All the same features as IGLA 231, just without the included keyfobs. Use pin-code or smart phone for authorisation.
Key-fobs can be purchased and connected to IGLA at a later time.

Add on modules may be installed at any time after the installation of IGLA. Blocking Relays, KEY FOBs and Sirens
Depending on your vehicles CAN-bus system, a relay may be required to assist with certain functions of IGLA. Author alarm have designed these tiny relays to work perfectly with their immobilisers either directly, or via the CAN lines. Alternatively, they can be purchased seperately for use with other 12v systems where hidden wiring is required. Here, you will also find additional/replacement Key Fob's and alarm sirens compatible for use with IGLA.
AR20 Relay
The AR20 electromechanical relay is fantastic in design and features a miniature body design that is easily hidden within a wiring loom. May be used as a normally open or normally closed 12v relay.
Provides a means of engine blocking when installing an IGLA system on a vehicle that does not support anti hi-jacking or engine shut-down via the CAN-bus System.
Max current rating: 20A max.
TOR Relay
The TOR digital relay is designed specifically for use with the IGLA immobiliser and alarms. It uses the CAN bus system in the vehicle to communicate with IGLA and is used in most cases as an extra engine blocking aid in the event of IGLA failing or being disconnected.
Some installations may require TOR in order for IGLA to correctly block engine start or help anti hi-jacking Mode work. Alternatively, TOR may be purchased separately as an extra safety precaution.
Spare KEY FOB
Add a KEY FOB to make authorisation easier or replace a missing or broken one.
These Key Fob's use their own Bluetooth frequency and cannot be intercepted using hacking software.
90db Backup battery Alarm siren
These sirens are usually mounted in the engine bay, in a position that makes it harder for potential thieves to access. If the wires are cut, the siren will continue to run thanks to its built in backup battery.
Siren is triggered by alarm device or when it senses loss of battery voltage (in case wires have been cut).
It also comes with a key that allows you to turn it off in the event you need to replace your vehicles battery or disconnect it for other reasons.
