Using the standard CAN-Bus wiring of your vehicle, IGLA alarm immobiliser communicates with your vehicle to immoblise and prevent theft.
The same technique allows IGLA to communicate with optional add-on modules to help maximise protection of your vehicle and also add some comfort features.

- Will not void new car warranty thanks to innovative CAN-Bus communication.
- Built in Comfort features such as auto window closing etc. (Not availablle on all vehicles)
- Recently added option to block OBD port via CAN-Bus
- AR20 Relay for backup blocking of engine start or to enable anti hi-jacking modes on vehicles that cannot be shut down via CAN.
- Perimeter protection guards bonnet, doors and boot plus towing and impact thanks to built in shock and tilt sensors.
- Features siren output to activate 3rd party siren (Not Included)
- GPS capabilities to locate your car and receive push notifications of any events via Author Connect App (When installed alongside COMPASS add-on module. Not yet available in Australia. Arriving in late 2024 and can be added on once available)
- Use your smart phone as a key fob thanks to Author ID app.
- Ability to install add-on modules at any time to enhance security or for further comfort features. AUTHOR ALARM'S Modular system makes it easy to add add-on modules while keeping the stealth install theme.

Recommended add-ons:
- TOR digital relay. In case IGLA is damaged/removed or CAN-Bus is shorted/damaged, TOR relay will activate and block engine. Extra safety and peace of mind.
