IGLA is the smallest digital anti-theft device available. 

It is easily hidden within a standard wiring loom anywhere in the vehicle. 

The tiny design of IGLA allows it to be well hidden in confined spaces or even within the factory wiring loom of the vehicle. More importantly than that, it is undetectable using any digital or electrical devices including diagnostic tools, making for the ultimate stealth installation. 

The amazing digital design by Author Alarm, uses the vehicles CAN Bus (communication network) to digitally communicate with your vehicle. Two main advantages of this are the minimal amount of wires required to connect IGLA to your vehicle and the other is the firmware installed into IGLA during installation is suited specifically to your vehicle to ensure correct functionality and communication at all times. 

IGLA has several methods of preventing theft. It can prevent engine start, it can shut the engine off after starting to drive, it can prevent the transmission from shifting into gear and it also features an amazing anti hijacking system which avoids confrontation, keeping you safe, and your vehicle close by.

To disable the IGLA device and be able to start and drive the vehicle, you must authorise yourself with either the supplied key-fob, smart phone with installed app, or via a user defined pin code entered using the standard buttons on the steering wheel or dashboard. 

For the ultimate protection, you can setup IGLA to require a two-factor authorisation method, which requires you to not only produce either a connected key-fob or smart phone, but also enter your pin-code before you are able to drive. Absolute protection for your vehicle. 

The Alarm version of IGLA adds perimeter protection, an in-built shock and tilt sensor and an output to a siren or horn. This alerts by standers to the attempted theft.*

By using the factory CAN system, you may choose to further protect your vehicle or add comfort features such as remote start easily and at any time. Extra modules do not need to be installed alongside IGLA. They may be installed anywhere around the vehicle so long as they are connected to the same CAN bus as IGLA for correct communication. *

IGLA does not affect the operation of the factory remote start system. Instead it works alongside it to keep the vehicle protected.

The fantastic design of IGLA was well thought out and allows IGLA to be installed alongside any factory alarm or any aftermarket alarm if you wish to do so.

IGLA will not block or hinder any aspect of other installed systems. In fact, with most aftermarket alarms, you can join them onto IGLA to send or receive a signal so that they work together to prevent theft.

We are currently awaiting the arrival of "TeleCompass 2 4g" GPS/GSM Tracking Devices that will work together with IGLA to help you track and control your vehicle. The smart phone app will let you know if and which door has been opened, if the ignition is turned on or engine started and can also inform you of the vehicles interior temperature, battery voltage and fuel level. It also allows you to safely cut engine power to stop the vehicle mid-journey.

*IGLA installation is subject to vehicle compatibility. Unfortunately not all cars are supported due to lack of CAN-Bus requirements. In some cases, we may be able to adapt IGLA to your vehicle by reading your vehicles CAN network and creating a firmware to suit. This may require you leave the vehicle with us for a few days and is not guaranteed to make IGLA work.

*While IGLA Immobiliser may work well on some vehicles, the alarm version is subject to compatibility and may not be able to utilise the perimeter monitoring or some comfort functions.
