IGLA & Compustar Compatibility Guide: Is Your Vehicle Supported?

Which makes and models we fit IGLA immobilisers and Compustar alarms to in Australia — Ranger Raptor, LandCruiser 300, RS3 and the rest of the high-theft list.
The single most common question we get before a booking is simple: will it work on my car? Both IGLA and Compustar cover a huge range of vehicles in Australia, but coverage depends on the platform and model year. Here is the current fitment picture from our Tullamarine workshop.
IGLA immobiliser — supported vehicles
IGLA works on any vehicle with a CAN-bus and factory steering-wheel or centre-console buttons it can read. In practice that means almost every modern Ford, Toyota, Lexus, Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Volkswagen, Mazda, Subaru, Nissan, Hyundai, Kia, Mitsubishi and Isuzu sold here from roughly 2010 onwards.
High-theft platforms we fit most weeks: Ford Ranger, Ranger Raptor, Wildtrak and Everest; Toyota LandCruiser 70/200/300 Series, HiLux, Prado, Kluger and RAV4; Lexus LX, RX, NX and IS; Audi RS3, RS6, S3 and Q7; BMW M3, M4, X5 and X6; Mercedes G-Wagen, GLE and C63; Subaru WRX and Forester; Mazda CX-5, CX-8 and BT-50.
If your car has factory keyless entry, push-button start and a CAN-bus diagnostic plug, it is almost certainly supported. The only common exceptions are very early pre-CAN vehicles and a handful of US-market grey imports.
Compustar alarm & remote start — supported vehicles
Compustar is bypass-module driven, so coverage is broader and includes manual-key vehicles. We commonly fit it to Ford Ranger and F-150, Toyota LandCruiser, HiLux, Prado and Kluger, Holden Colorado and HSV utes, Nissan Patrol and Navara, Jeep Grand Cherokee and Wrangler, Ram 1500 and 2500, Dodge Challenger, and the full Subaru WRX and Forester range.
Remote start support depends on the bypass module available for your specific make, model and year — we confirm that against the live Compustar fitment database before quoting.
